• Temperature

Normal house temperatures are the best. Avoid too hot or too cold rooms.

• Light

Unlike other plants, spathiphyllums tolerate low light. They cannot tolerate very bright light that causes burns.

• Irrigation

Ideally, ensure that the soil remains moist and not wet, then water the plants thoroughly when the soil dries up, but do not soak the soil, just like low light requirement, therefor these plants require low water supply too. You can also shower the leaves to remove dust.

• Fertilizer

Spathiphyllums are not heavy feeders hence require infrequent feeding.

• Pruning

Trimming is done at the basal part. because the stalks are cut at the bottom to give room for the emergence of new stalks.

• Propagation

By vegetative propagation, the plants are uprooted, diseased ones are discarded hence remaining with the healthy ones so, cut the remaining into pieces, then insure that each piece has a growth point like a bud that will continue growing, after place the plant in moist soil and away from direct sunlight.
